Dear Esteemed Parents,

We heartily thank God for his goodness, care, protection, provision, safety etc towards all.

This term witnessed a colossal achievement in areas like student’s prayer retreat geared towards the moral uplifting of their lives, impactful excursion and career week, and robust expansion/strengthening of the academic depths of scholars. The list goes on. In this academic year, lessons have been made to be more practical than theory, therefore, exposing scholars to various projects and practical’s, some of the projects duly completed include making of solar heater, electromagnets, flashlight, solenoid, liquid soap and others.

Recall that the overall development of the global child is hinged on effective partnership of the home and the school, therefore, we cannot fail to appreciate the untiring efforts of our esteemed parents in making this term both academic oriented and activity based. Thank you most especially for your support in kind and cash towards our inter-house sports, career week and class-based Easter cantata. Our children had a swell time. We also encourage you to do more especially in the areas of instilling moral values on our scholars, encouraging our scholars in completion of their home work, projects and other school work and on need to be properly dressed at all times. Thank you for helping us serve you. May God bless you immensely!

OBSERVATIONS

In the course of this term it was observed that:

v  Some scholars come to school without their school ties.$v  Some never came back with their books whenever they took them home.

v  Some never complied with weekly themes.

v  Some stay up late at home watching movies and this affected their performance in school

v  Some kept long and dirty nails

v  Some parents still drop-off their children late.

v  Some parents were not complying with the weekly hair styles and left the boys’ hair to grow bushy.

v  Some home works that go home daily were not attended to.

v  Comments in the communication books were not read and responded to by some parents.

v  Some projects were returned late.

WAY FORWARD

v  The complete uniform comprises of the tie, shirt, shorts/ trousers or skirts/ pinafore, socks and black sandals. The dressing and appearance tell the volumes of the child and the home; let us make our children our ambassadors.

v  Practice makes perfect; let them know their books should be handled with care.

v  Early to bed, early to rise! Get them to sleep early, to wake up early and strong.

v  Cleanliness is next to Godliness! Our nails and hair should always be cut low or made as the case may be.

Thank you as you partner us for a better tomorrow.
